Hello everyone , have been away from the computer since yesterday afternoon .

Thanks for the votes . When I try to create a clue I nearly always start by looking for a relevant anagram . Struggled with pie and salad before I saw Delia and the rest as they say is history .

Its great to win PR , sort of the Premiership to CLUELESS'a FA cup '

Great prize too rambler .

Could someone remind me of the timetable for this event so that I can devise a way of starting on time .

Marty

@pastille - I could never forget the lovely Rosalind !

It all depends on the starting time . If its before 6pm I may well require her assistance ( as Commander Bond said to Moneypenny...)

Moneypenny here.

Can help normal time Thursday if you need. Later lecturing on the dark goings-on in the parish of St Anne's Soho in the early part of the nineteenth century.
It will not be rivetting

Hi Marty - seems far more successful and inclusive to start Thursday afternoon (or morning...) with voting from Saturday 1.30, result after 8.30pm

I doubt Delia's excellent Coffee walnut cake would be v good after only cooking for 12 and a half minutes, FRANCIS. Though, come to think of it, I always delibertely undercook pineapple upside down cake to get a gooey centre...
OK BBM, will wear my trademark pencil skirt and high heels
