Sounds like to pass water first, a boy in France yesterday made a kind of juicy quiche with no eggs (12).
(NB: "hier", Fr. for yesterday,is pronounced just like the ending "-ière").

tonyw, I missed that. Isn't that a coincidence? When we went to Nice in April I tried it there and loved it. Mrs rambler has cooked it for us a couple of times since but I'd love to sample your version - did you use lots of anchovies?

I used 1 tin of anchovies but the time taken was making the dough from scratch.If you can get catchup TV or Channel 4 on-line then I recommend it.The program is called "River cottage:Three go mad"
