I was/am only stuck on one letter-
8 D. zB,German hostel with a sulphurous niff?(4) egg?
(The 'eg' = zB (German 'for example)+ g/German, but I don't know whether the final answer should be 'eggy' or 'eggs'. Where does 'hostel' come in?

I'm not sure either but have gone with eggy - Youth hostel possibly?
