I forgot to thank you for my prize....which I think some others may have had a sneaky peek.
It reminded me that years ago I worked in an Assessment Centre for "naughty" boys and girls. We were donated an old pool table. I had played pool but was not very good.
For some reason that night I played a blinder...gaining much "respect".
The clever thing I did was never play another game, saying it would not be fair.
My reputation was legendary! I met one of my boys recently and he introduced me to his kids as Miss Jones the pool shark.
If they only knew...
