Well done everyone this week . I nearly posted "conductor" but then realised that increasing its length would give a few more oppurtunities to the anagram enthusiasts .
After rambler's "semi" reference the fun began ! Aristo's link was a sublime diversion !
Down to the nitty-gritty - the standard was so high it makes choosing nearly impossible and to make any honourable mentions would probably devalue many excellent entries :)
