Thanks everyone - keep 'em coming. The 'Gazza' clue is 7,8
I know someone who grows bindweed up garden canes, Ninian. They have very pretty flowers and are relating to several more respectable climbers, so if you can keep them under control, then why not.

for 41 I'm thinking along the lines of "in" for "popular", "k" for first Kaiser and german for tiny. Google gives this as "winzig", so therefore we have the well-known scottish flower the "inkwinzig". Unfortunately Google doesn't seem to know about it.

Chris E - been there, done that, but surely it must start 'ink' ? or perhaps not.

Primula Auricula - seriously? or just a joke?

If you follow the link provided, you will find that a variety of Primula auricula has been named "Gazza" - doubt that it's a scottish native, though!

Hey, perplexed! I suggested on your past thread that it might be a primula. Don't trust me, huh? :)

Just got No.41.

Fashionable is Chic + k for first letter of kaiser, and then a tiny German is wee+d.

Can anyone offer some pointers for 55. Infant's grandmother returns (5)
56. Islay's native flower revealed in retrospective (5)
57. Butter boys (7) I was thinking goats or rams or bulls but that's where my thinking stopped.
