Final? daft question to those having completed...are the 3 words of the title and the 3 words of the playfair square real non-pattern(isogrammatic)words or are they non-pattern due to application of playfair rules when entered?

I'm not sure I follow you so hope what I say makes sense.
The 3 words in the Playfair phrase and in the puzzle's title are real words in everyday use, but the phrase is not a common phrase. In fact when I got it I wondered what it meant, but the title puts it into context.
The title makes complete sense as does the phrase made from the first and third words, required for entering the competition.

Thanks stevem...I've been trying to make an obvious two letters precede this line without success...I'll keep at it now.

Finally cracked the Playfair square. Not easy, but with the benefit of hindsight, probably made too heavy weather of it.

I know what you mean peterm...it seems easier once you get it(it was bloody difficult though) - I think some comments on other sites hinting at another error were unhelpful, as far as I can see it all fits together perfectly apart from the obvious typo at 21,22D.
