now that I have heard the "sound" I am even more confused.....

Can not understand the link between the sound and the clues...

I wrote down the rest but missed this one so had to go on what somebody told me

The clues seem to point nowhere?

The sound is to me like snapping a bit of plastic and it dropping on to something else "plasticy"...weird!

It sounds like a board game(whos name escapes me)where the di/dice were in a plastic bubble that you pressed to make them jump!......or I could have just imagined it.
