Francis, I think Thea was using phonetic spelling.... (Perhaps... now where's my "smiley"...)

I suppose better to misspell than to mispronounce.
Some years ago a waiter in Dover brought the ordered bottle of wine saying "Here is your bottle of Chianti, sir ! (pronounced Tchianti.) Compensated by a waitress in Tuscany with her chocolate padding !
