Hi all both sides of the pond!!!!
May I just point out that once again the winner ( that old New England chap once again ) was on the FIRST PAGE.!!!!!
I think its Hypnotism
or Fixation
or Determination
or The Raglan-Newhat Syndrome
When will it end?
Where will it lead?
What will happen next?
How did it all begin?
In the best possible taste ---THEA

Well, at least here in the US many hotels "skip" the thirteenth floor. Perhaps we could come up with a similar idea. Of course your first floor is our second, so even if we invented a euphemism there might still be some confusion- though I do think we agree on what "the first page" means. I fear that any attempt at rectifying this outrage might have linguistically disastrous ramifications.

I just read my post and realized why the Sophists didn't care for me back in Athens.

Actually, neither of the previous two (FRANCIS's, peterm's) was on the first page. I chose peterm's, and peterm FRANCIS's, so we at least are not in thrall to Page One.
