hello Mr Macquizzy,

I am trying to keep this thread "visible" for obvious reasons.

Thoroughly enjoying doing this quiz with my daughter, who is new to "cryptics".

Also, I waved the quiz tantalisingly under my Mothers nose today...she will be sending off for one.

I will try and spread the word.Hope you will exceed your target.

Hello Pastille,

Thanks for all your encouragement and assistance. Jazzgirl has just bought a copy of the quiz and we have now exceeded the £500 target six weeks before the closing date. I hope this means that we are on a roll!

I'm trying to spend as much time as I can promoting the quiz everywhere (esp. Twitter, LinkedIn & Facebook), so forgive me if I don't post here that regularly. I've also got another charity quiz to write for this Saturday night!

Thanks to all.

Glad you are really enjoying it, JazzGirl.

Editing the Winter Quiz is proving difficult. The food quiz has problems with issues of taste, ironically! There are a few clues which are a little risque and the subject of some debate.....

In that case it should be a sell-out! We often do risque on here.
Cheers

49 out of a 100...

Brain beginning to frazzle...

Seems there is now a lot of anabloodygrams...

And my brain can not "see" anabloodygrams.

Example...many moons ago...when Scotland was in the World Cup" in Argentina. (I could sing you the song if you want!)

A sports crossword I was doing had an anabloodygram of a manager of a football club.

All I could see was Ally Clodum...say no more!
