As everyone is being so enthusiastic about this quiz, I have decided that if we reach the £500 target, I will increase the prize from a bottle to a magnum of Champagne.

i'm not a huge fan of quizzes,this is the 2nd one i've entered but i'm glad i did.

I agree with both of you on that one.

Shows how carefully I checked - doesn't bode well for my answer sheet! Faster is not always better, as the actress etc, etc

or an 'i' instead of an 'a'?
probably should not have mentioned it but at least it keeps this thread near the top.

Thanks Trevor, but as I say, speed is no guarantee of success! You're right, there ia an 'i' in place of an 'a'. Oh well, the answer's pretty obvious nevertheless.

This thread must have been a sign, it's 6 months today since my dad died of cancer. I've just been on the site and I'm eagerly waiting for the quiz.
