Tony, thanks for the explanation. I normally post the crossword title, which must be why I've drawn a blank. I haven't used the search that often as normally I get it from here, but obviously if an answer is posted under a different thread title it's not going to come up. Appreciate your insight.

Sally the best way to use AB search box is to enter the clue you are seeking the answer to, as has been said a lot of people use different headings for the same Crosswords.

When you log on to Answerbank crossword section, at the top of the page there is a part called "unanswered questions", and there is not one unanswered question. So, sounds very odd that anyone can say that they have posted many questions without an answer.

doesn't that just mean that someone has replied? quite often with another question or a comment rather than the answer?
