The G xword Ed's column should be interesting next month - I suspect the early entries will be a bit later than normal!

I suspect 12a might be a place name, and 5d might be a foreign word. Does that look ok to anyone?

12a is better known as a surname probably and 5d is in Chambers....those happen to be 2/9 of the clues I've entered!

...at this point they're 2 of only 3 i've entered. Even once one's figured out the theme, this puzzle is still a bugger!!

Despite my foggy brain, I think I see 9a as well.

AJT et al, I am completely stumped. every effort to discover possible "passages" which fit the text of the clues has been unsuccessful. any advice would be appreciated

It would be lovely to think that Araucaria might be reading this thread, and rubbing his hands in glee.

Got 2 more over coffee this morning. About a third of the way through. Can feel my life slipping away.

It doesn't help that there are lots of proper nouns....I think 10A might relate to a 60's song?

I don't have 10ac yet.
