I suspect 12a might be a place name, and 5d might be a foreign word. Does that look ok to anyone?

12a is better known as a surname probably and 5d is in Chambers....those happen to be 2/9 of the clues I've entered!

AJT et al, I am completely stumped. every effort to discover possible "passages" which fit the text of the clues has been unsuccessful. any advice would be appreciated
