Cheers, Torvic - sometimes I need to be hit over the head with a mallet before I 'see' the answer!!

Hi, Chris4food,

In 8 across, your A should be an I. You will find the answer on your computer rather than in your dictionary.

For 23 across, think of a way of making coffee.

Hope this helps.

Haven`t started this weeks crossword yet but glad to hear that some of you find it fairly easy so am looking forward to starting this evening, and hope that you are not kidding!!

Noticed last week that we haven`t heard from Philip for a week or two. Hope all is ok with him or maybe he has gone off to Florida again.

Speak again later in the week.

Hi all - found it fairly easy this week with some good clues, apart from 8a that is. Thanks guys for your extras for that one but it still didn't sink in at first. All done now though.

I seem to be in the good company of Navigator and Chris4food in that I cannot get 23a. I have the same four letters and even tried Quick Solve which came up with nothing at all!! Am now considering coffee-making (someone`s clue) but can think of nothing that fits!! Otherwise I have finished but am not sending it in - I see the second class post has gone up yet again!
