Blind monkey,

We all try and help but it is a bit off putting when the no of letters jumps from 4 to 5.

Apologies, it is indeed 5 letters....told you I was new to this. Last one,

flower can mean river,it flows

You don't. That's the fun of crosswords. Words can have more than one meaning.Sometimes a flower is one of those pretty things in your garden and sometimes it's a river. Think of all the different meanings for,say, rose.
