A gentle puzzle from Columba.

Although the title is a bit of a giveaway, two of the 6 terms were not in my trusty Bradford.

Hi Tony.

I'm probably being a bit thick, but what exactly is the question and what form might the answer take?

Hi Jim

It is not a question as such. Each Thursday Spectator solvers normally meet on a thread on this forum to discuss that week's puzzle, and to help strugglers if required.

Cheers

Ah! Thanks.

The word "probably" in my previous post was definitely not appropriate or needed (probably!).

Tony - you are quick off the mark today! I'm late starting but it's as you say and the title indeed gives it away! Back to my grid where I hope to romp to the finishing line shortly.

OK, I don't mind owning up - I found this a bit of a slog and Bradford's was worse than useless for the theme words but finished now apart from the salmon/parrot at 41ac and I can't be bothered going throught the dictionary looking for the right combination of letters. I enjoyed 2000 and 2001 much more. What do others think?

2 minutes ago, with the grid filled, had no idea of the activity. Only 4 letters appeared to be missing: E,C,I,G. The G did it! 19D was a bugger. Still don't get the wordplay in 25D "for all to see"
Now to fill the perimeter.

BTW, Wiki indicates 11A is spelled with 2 Rs.
