Well done Chris! And, of course STRETCH = SHEET (Chambers & Oxford Thesauri) e.g of ice.
Now to no.5. Each clue is of a different type; 1 complex anag; 2.containment; 3 charade; 4. double and, finally, 5 = a different class of clue than the others. I'll throw in a letter or two soon.
