Unfortunately Im stuck on 12d and 24ac

Well spotted sobes - that was bugging me.

Don't have the paper (snowed in) so what are the clues, no. of letters etc.

12d denominates with alterations and corrections. Answer is anagram of denominates = emendations
24 ac Old polician and sailor to propel boat - one may land here. Answer is old politician and sailor (heath) and propel boat row = Heathrow

thanks Chrisg should have got 24ac hope to get a decent dictionary for christmas and i would have got 12d as ive never heard of it. By the way we haven't had any snow today in north east but still have remnants from week ago. Thanks Suki leave your e-mail and I'll scan you a copy.

No snow here on the Essex/Suffolk borders..temp is -3c at the moment and clouding over..looks like the white stuff is on its way

Ah beautiful kent. Surprised your getting snow when we're not. Still very cold minus 8 according to car. Might where a long sleeved shirt today and put some long trousers on - we're hard from the north.
