Your "F" is wrong. The answer is an anagram of Z + A RED.

D - I think you have tea leaF for the across clue - you need to change the f (fine) to d (diamonds) - result is lining chests

Twain the writer- wasn't his real name.

Think of a synonym for false name- then think of what remove 50 might mean and that should help you
