Over far too quickly, but fun while it lasted. FOI 1d, LOI 1a, only because I needed the crossers to be sure of the def, and only then parsed it.
COD? I really liked 14d, but can’t say why without spoiling it!

This was my fastest Everyman solve so far (out of maybe 40 puzzles). And I had to check only one answer: 1A, since I hadn't known the 4-letter word for trousers.

Hi Guys,

Relatively quick solve for me too.

1a - I think the "trousers" are 5 letters and go after "cropped top".

COD - A toss-up between 10a and 14d.

Thanks to Everyman.

Yes, five letters, not four. I forgot the last letter.

(It is well known that mathematicians cannot count.)

😂

It's amazing how many mathematicians solve cryptic crosswords and use this Forum.

Also quickest ever finish for me. 4d and 10d are a pair with first word opposites - afraid I do not recall the description of that - but 10d are a great band.

We've seen clues like 20a recently, enjoyed that.

Not sure about 18d but I'll go with my entry.

Was not so 8d today - my CoD. Enjoy your Sundays.

A quick one but enjoyable. Favourites 4d and 20a. Happy St Patrick’s Day to all from Ireland.😊

Yep, quick for me too, although not entirely sure about 2d (Is 'caught' a homophone indicator? If so, it's a new one on me. And what's 'old' doing in there?) or 22a (triple definition?)
COD 4D - very imaginative.

I always spell the second definition in 14d differently, but apparently this one is valid too.

A quicker solve than usual, today's grid didn't allow for annu of the 4-letter words that often seen to hold people up. No sign of and rhyming pairs that I can see, and Spooner stil MIA. Thanks Everyman.
