I don't usually get done this early in the day. Happy with a no-help completion, except for a quick check of Wikipedia for the offspring of biblical characters. As with others my LOI was 22d, of which I am at least 90% certain that my answer is correct. Now off for a restorative walk...

Can’t parse 22d at all.
It’s my last one, and I’ve got a couple of possible answers that fit, but I’m blowed if I can see how either of them make sense of the clue.
Help please?

I concluded that 22 is a cryptic definition / &lit based on a particular usage of "granny". Not overly impressed with the clue

Thanks both.
I think I’ve got your drift.
But not liking the clue much. It’s not very satisfying, is it?

Made a bit of progress yesterday in a short session, then quickly finished the rest today much sooner than I expected without getting badly stuck anywhere. (A topology background helped me get 22D immediately.)
