Nothing produced by white balls? Slap! (4,4)

My letters are J?C?/S?I? so I’m thinking it might be JACK SH*T but if so, I can’t parse it for the life of me.

That makes sense. It’ll be the first time I’ve put an (admittedly mild) expletive into a crossword though ;)

It’s a split clue by the way, 24D & 16A, so the second word is sh*t.

Not the only expletive in this one, if you count 3d.
