Local group also has a mathematical meaning, but I'm not even going to try to go there. 😂

The Rochdale v Oldham fixture over here is called ` El Flatcapio` ... people in the `North` and other regions of the UK used to wear flat caps - some still do, `Peaky Blinders` is worth a look if you get the chance.

My plan is to wrap Clueless up early unless we are inundated with late entries!

Thanks to the 10 entrants for taking part in an unusual challenge, I enjoyed reading every one of your entries and apologise if they don`t all get a mention.

Buddy@4 set the (choc !) bar high with his `Milky Way` clue. I liked Jono@6`s use of the effect of gravity on the `Bar Society` and Mattrom@8`s `Pubco` - has Wetherspoons reached Sydney? Could PaulH@11`s `Neighbourhood Watch` be secretly observing the night sky? Jamoza@19 cleverly achieved a `hidden` in his definition while Dorrien@25 managed to combine two definitions successfully. Paul@29 pulled off (in a nice way!) an anagram and Darla@31 found yet a different definition.

I liked Paul@32`s `Crazy Spanish and Latin band` and his @33 `without` device but ... Jono@34 is this week`s Clueless winner with the superb …

...Actually the above link does NOT show the "without" device but I'm pretty sure it came from Jon...

Congrats jono, though I thought you were stretching it a bit to use "energy" for CAL!

Thanks tyke. I enjoyed the clips, especially the first astrophysics one. I must take issue with the voiceover on the second, though - no observation can "prove" a theory to be correct; it can just fail to disprove it (straight Popperian scientfic philosophy!)

Very many thanks Tyke! Enjoyed all the clips. A fun challenge and a slow burner for me.
Chris, indeed, I was a bit worried about Cal. for energy but calories can be expressed as joules which are a measure of energy so I thought it was worth a try :-)
Paul, I recall “without” but I’m pretty sure I didn’t come up with it. It is on my updated list though.

Cheers all!
PR to follow shortly… with a twist ;-)
