I agree about this being a tough one, with many in the category 'Guess the answer, work out the parse later'.

That being said I've struggled on and have now only one remaining:

42d Be bursting with Joy, close to you for a second (7)

The answer is either RAPTURE or RUPTURE but I really can't decide which. What's the consensus?

RUPTURE (be bursting).

Joy is RAPTURE then replace A (the second letter) with U (close to yoU)
