Not according to Wikipedia, or at least it's disputed.

I bet no-one else had DIBSTONE for 1D anyway ;) Was the only thing I could think of that fit and there's a 3 letter old lady reversed + a hazard in the road. Pluralised it is another word for the game of Jacks/Knucklebones.

It wasn't the first word I thought of for needlework. I think Jazzgirl gave the parsing, for which I was grateful.

Just a couple left: 16d for which I have an answer, but I cannot parse it. I fear I may have got 15ac wrong as I can't see a single letter indicating possession and then the colour. I've had an answer meaning delivered for ages.

I can't see where the N comes from in 22ac. I'd never have got 17ac without the hints here.

I haven't got 10ac either - any hints please so I can finish.

I found the four letter answers in this crossword the most difficult. Otherwise I've enjoyed it. I must have been on Brendan's wavelength. It was much easier than the last two prizes - loads of anagrams, some new words for me.

16D parses as 4 letter "don't blow" backwards (up) + 4 letter "things with charges"

15A: the single letter should also have an apostrophe!

22A: I can't parse that either

10A: Think golf

22 is really devious.
Defn. "showing passion".
Parsing: 1 letter for "shed missing female" inside [(1,4) "a tear"]

Yup that's quite devious, needed 3 explanations to parse it, sorted now.

Thanks to Jono and ChrisE for the general knowledge! I was feeling a bit meh about this prize, but it’s turned up a couple of hidden gems.

Hi PDS

I'd finally worked out 16d. My answer for 15ac does not make sense with an apostrophe'd letter.

I'm afraid I never think of Golf, but PDM reminds me that I did once live near this river, but I can't see what little piles of sand have to do with it. But I consider myself to have finished.

So 10ac is LOI and I'll add 8ac to my other CODs (5d and 13d)

Thanks for all the help.

It's what they used to put the ball on before they invented 10A.
