I'm still unable to get 20D at the moment. I'll eat my breakfast (8:30 a.m. in Canada) and try again. Don't know much about footy but the first crosser rules out 'snooker spin'. Assuming 21A is correct which I'm pretty sure of.

As usual I'm struggling with clues that don't seem to be featuring in the forum. Must be obvious to everyone else! But 1d, 2 and 11 are eluding me. Any help?

1d is a person's name
2d is musical
11 is in the spectrum
