1, "car a pace" if it's "shell" rather than "shelf"?

Thanks Rusty for your help. I realise that I had got 1 down wrong but have worked out the correct answer now and yes shelf should have been shell. Sorry about that. Thanks for putting me right, I`ve finished it now.
