hi, mamya. no. 75.is "before the end of the day ill-bred scoundrel was an intruder. (5.3.) i had thought "billy row" who was a baddy.

Derby Dog

end of day = Y
+ ill bred = DERB
scoundrel = Dog

The whole means an intruder on a dog track

i was using the "b" fron bred and "ill" plus "y" from day. getting "billy". thanks mamya. i feel like an idiot among the clever-clogs! thanks a lot. i'll try harded in future , to try to see the clues better.

and i'll learn to spell!
