Toiling in bottom left corner - help with 12d is invited. (7) letters ( I have c?n?l?e) Snob’s pudding.

Cobbler - a pudding and also what Snob is (somewhere in Shakespeare!).

Sorry, I've just checked Chambers - 'snob' is a shoemaker, shoemaker's apprentice, cobbler. (I don't know where I got my Shakespeare idea from!)

17A Labiate edge (5) B???L
18D Running wear? (5) ??O?T - AFOOT?

Help please.

18 Sport would fit Running (noun) and Wear (verb).

basil is a labiate, though I was thinking bevel for the edge. Any help?

Sadly, I have to post my entry and rely on the vagaries of Royal Mail to try and get to the top of the heap. I've been doing the Wee Stinker for as many years as I can remember (with the current state of senility that could be any number!) but still only have one "Runner Up" t-shirt. I must be missing a trick or two!
