@ Paul

Either I am not 'with it' this morning, or something is amiss in your
anagram

R + PANTIES ON = One 'N' too many and one 'O' missing ?

Or am I blind?

Perhaps Tosca is not funny (but may have one in stitches!) (10)

Tosca - opera (quite tragic, I believe!)
Is not - anagram (funny - as in 'odd')
Definition - have one in stitches (allusion to ones state following operations.)

Have one in stitches is a phrase meaning to be gripped by uncontrollable laughter.

Welcome (back apparently?) Redundantelf - Does 'for the fun of
it' means you do not want to be part of the competition? Or
shall take your clue into account when deciding on the winner?
