Congrats pigale and thanks, therogue (and also for the mention).

Your clip reminded me of two quotes:
Fred Astaire's screen test "Can't act, can't sing, can dance a bit".

Ginger Rogers
"I did everything that Fred did, but backwards, in high heels!"

Good clip Mr A! I haven't seen that since clueless 31! That Cyd Charisse certainly was a foxy lady wasn't she?!
But I preferred Ginger's elegant grace!

therogue: When I searched for it I saw the late francis's posts. What an endearing gentleman he was.

Congratulations, Pigale, and thanks to Therogue for setting and the silver.
I enjoyed both clips - and Ginger can even dance in riding boots.

Aristo
I didn't see why Francis came up, but I agree that he was amazing - so helpful and gentlemanly, and also so good at crosswords that weren't in his native language.

chrise: I had looked up the Clueless I'd posted the clip for, and there he was.

Yes I noticed Francis too, a true gent indeed. Bullfrog was there as well. I had to check then to see who won that one, thinking it may have been ixion. But it was won by chips.

Bullfrog was hilarious. I remember how he had filmed a cow running onto the field at his son's football game and the story was in a local newspaper. We all came up with names for the movie that might be made when he sold the rights to his story to Hollywood (The Moo for Sixpence, for example). He responded with "Thank you for all your kine words."
