2's child into wild rice (9)

CRESCIONI fits my crossers and gives scion inside an anagram of rice. However this word seems to be the Italian for cress rather than being a kind of pasta.

After a lot of searching I found this


Crescioni are made with the same dough used for piadine but they are stuffed and closed sort of like a panzerotto and then cooked like a piadina. You can fill them with anything you like. Pasta is substituted for bread in some regions, so it becomes a "pasta dish"
