I have parked an Excel file here containing the names of a zillion birds sorted by word length. It is the dullest document imaginable but a useful tool. Worth downloading but only if you are a regular bird quizzer!

Thanks folks . . Tats and Chris esp.

Some brilliant minds out there

I have downloaded the "dullest document imaginable" and no doubt it will be well 'thumbed'

All we need now is the Newcastle Pro . .

Might just test that 'document' . .

I was thinking of some type of Finch as that name has connections to Newcastle Knights but, like you, I'm at a dead end

Thanks Tippy

I checked NUFC and found 'Magpies' . . setter as a clue suggested to use Baltimore / Newcastle

Baltimore = Orioles / Ravens

I have submitted FOREST (anag. foster) RAVEN . . which is also a (6,5) bird on Tat's chart

Will keep you all posted . .
