The problem with expressions like this is they vary according to where you live. Not just in country to country, but also in different areas in the same country. I looked at "double Dutch", but that clearly did not fit, and though through several "Europeans" . I think about the expression using "Greek" is not just that it is a foreign language but is a ancient classical language which uses a different alphabet to make it more difficult to understand.
