Also if you have filled the grid and have the word to be written below the grid, you do not need the misprints.

Misprint letters when rearranged give two words which give a hint to the 10 words in the grid.

I thought they spelled a synonym for sterilisation, often performed on male cats.

It's just details, really. I'm one letter off the deck and one letter off that sterilization procedure. But it doesn't really matter.

Interesting you've got the first letter of 45a. I had changed the first letter of 46 a.

I've got the same as you, jazzlover - a change in 46 A.

My letters are from 13, 15, 24, 28, 46, 2,16, 28, 32 and 42.

I presume it's the end of the first word you changed?
And in the down clues, was 28 a typo for 29?

Yes, 28 should have been 29 - my copy has lots of scribbles on it! In 13, it's the end of the third word.

I was talking about changing the first letters of 45a and 33d to make a card. Not misprints. So sorry to confuse the issue.
