Once more I need help please.
I have completed the grid but because I have some of the extra letters derived from some clues (I have the first word of this) and not the middle ones that I can make sense of anyway, I can't progress to finding the relevant Captain.
This will only make sense to anyone who has tackle d this week's challenge.

Morning Jogamel. I'm at the same stage as you. But I have the letters from 27 to 44 across, and from 10 to 39 down.. Would any of these help?

Good morning Nelson. Yes indeed! The letters missing for me are across between 32 and 44 and down between 1 and 19. Any help would be wonderful. Of course I might still struggle...

There are six words in the clue -10, 6,4, 2,3,5.

ACROSS 32 a, 35 r,38 a,44 p.
DOWN 2 s, 3 l, 10 e,16 t,.

It seems to be the four letter word that is crucial and that is the one I can't get the letters for......

2d. Def is 'workforce'.
Crumbles = powders. Losing its heart, it becomes powers
S is the extra letter.
Put this under 'man' which is a tower of rock in BRB.
