Any hints for10ac? 14 to damage instrument that's cracked?

Many thanks Mottram for your reply last night. Initially I misread it, but when I read it again I sorted out 4d and eventually got 10ac. Not that I knew this 14ac. And then I went to bed. But at least I've enjoyed this more than Enigmatist last week.
