Last one, hopefully, is 18d Eurasia? clue given, Orwell'sstate overturning first-rate appeal with regret.
I can see "rue" which satisfies part of it but not too sure about the rest.

a1 : first rate
appeal - sa (sex appeal)
rue - regret
