For 10A, think of what today is
For 2D, the surface cleverly leads you to mistake a word for a verb, when it's a noun.
For 22A, totally with you - no idea about the lover either.

I'm stuck on 15 - I think I'm looking for a playwright whose first name seems obvious - but 'Pink'? Maybe someone I don't know.

Equally lost on 24D, despite the crossers

Nudges appreciated!

No, mine's not in Chambers. Strange.....mine's not a word that I've ever heard of but it fits the clue and is in Collins. Is your kiss at 3?

If your 22a is correct, please help me (a lot) with 6d. I thought it ended in TH.
