41a very cheerful mug that's used to consume liquid. Answer is obviously (!?) Soup Spoon but I just can't parse it. Any help? Apologies if I have missed this in an earlier thread

Hi, Westfield, "very" can mean SO, "cheerful" gives UP, and a meaning of "mug" in Chambers is "simpleton", which is also a definition in Chambers for SPOON.
