I can find words that fit the letters but I can't parse them.

Still stuck on two that noone else seems to have had trouble with. 10ac: beginning to snuff candle, having turned around meal. ?E?A?? Then 3d: tool up, receiving insect's incantation. ?A???A. Could be something from Harry Potter...
