28 A. Cockfosters is a London station, a terminus (end of the line) but I have no idea how the rest of the clue works so it could be wrong!

Can anyone explain 11ac "Nuts, say, back on a short bloke that's mixed up"? Amalgam fits mixed up and the other letters but I don't get the rest. Tvm

I think Nuts is a Mag ('back' = reverse, so Gam), coming after A Mal(e) (short bloke).
