Thanks syzygy, a bit more of a work out this time. I liked 3,6*, 8 14 & 54.

I own about 3 chain saws, aristo, several brush cutters and two azadas (brilliant Spanish tools). The only chain saw I actually use is a small one on a pole, which is quite user-friendly.
One time, though, I took the largest one back to the shop. The car park was across the road. Cars stopped for me, so I guess others had "trouble with the visual" as well. I smiled graciously.
It's a bit like my eldest son remarked when I stopped all movement on a pavement in Brussels to take a photo of a drain cover "You can't get the mothers".
I still have the NE of the puzzle to do. Please could someone give me a clue for 22? I have worked out 28 but not fitted it in.
Like 4 and 26! Odd that I can't do 43 yet, given my great enthusiasm for family history.

Hi ros, the last 2 letters of 28 are also the last two of 22. I hope this helps.

Still not finished! If anyone still has this, please could they tell me which ones are the proper nouns- 11? and is 8 what it appreas to be- very large animals? In that case 3 looks impossible!!
