Finally done , the definition parts of the clues were delightfully hard to grasp . Loved the tea tray moment in 11a .

I think us crossworders must be impossible for google to profile . I have also looked up some strange and diverse things this morning . Chrise be funny to see if you have any ads for industrial cutting equip appearing on your screen .

I agree. Can someone tell me the parsing of 6D - 'Something in perfume has men and gentleman spinning' (5) is it a germanic mans name plural something to do with roses?

ORRIS = something in perfume

men = O.R. - other ranks in the army

gentleman spinning = 'sir' reversed = RIS
