I know it says 6pm but I'd like to post this a little early so I can get on with a couple of things, cheers.

I often have more trouble solving short clues and with “out” being the word on everyone’s lips, I was keen to see how you would respond.
Well once again the clueless crowd impressed with their inventiveness and wit, supplying 32 clues. Thank you all very much.
Hello to skyewalker - don’t think I’ve noticed that name before.
Of the steve’s clues I liked his acrostic @7 best, ginge’s Passpertout @12 outshone his QED@14 and clever #6.
I thought pigale’s #9 was the best from France (where’s gk?) whilst seamus’ #28 tickled me most from him. Mattrom’s 13 was the cream of her crop as were dorrien’s 15 and fiery’s 30.
Of paul’s many good clues I liked his 36 best.
We also had single entries from les, chris, ab, tatters and skyewalker.

Funnily enough my top 3 all come from page 2

3rd mattrom Even yogurt's not allowed? (3)

2nd dorrien Could be caught away from home(3)

1st tatters Our useless team is heading home, quite the reverse! (3)

Clever and topical with just enough misdirection for a penny-dropper.

See you all soon, Marty.

Congrats tatters - lovely clue.

Thanks BBM. I was amazed how many great clues there were for a three-letter word. I particularly liked mattrom's @20 - very clever!

Rock paper scissors lizard Spock (as popularised by Big Bang Theory) is rather harder to analyse!

Congrats tatters. Thanks for the challenge Marty, plus I also enjoyed the wit and wordplay of the clues.

Well done Tatters, smooth clue.

Bbm, thank you both for the menton, (very nice!), and for hosting.
