Sammi- Can't have anyone not understanding this most noble of games.
The expression "Your Honour" is said to your opponent on the tee,indicating that it is his/her to take the first stroke from the tee.
The honour of going first is awarded to the player who has won the previous hole.
Hope this assists your understanding of the game.

Thank you joker ,for taking the time in helping me understand NOBLE game,It seems to me lots of people also think of it as noble ,unfortunatly I am not one of them,having been a golf widow most of my married life (well at least after the honeymoon period anyway)But it was nice to learn something new,cant wait to show off my new knowledge now!

Sammi Must say I find it difficult to understand someone not taking their golf clubs on honeymoon.

By the way clubs didnt come on honeymoon, However it was possible to rent some!
