If memory serves me right ,I am fairly sure the film,had a hot air balloon

Yes, Sammie, as Chris said, the film DID have a hot air balloon, but the BOOK didn't !

One of my pet hates...no correlation between book and film!

The only little bit from the book that I remember is that Passepartout had left his gas lamp burning as they made their hurried departure, and would have to pay the gas bill when they returned!

Now I don't remember that bit, Chris.....!
