There is a cryptic crossword on Saturday in the on-line version.....no prize though.

well i haven't won for ages

i like the ceremony of fetching the paper, old fashioned i know but its a little community at the top of our hill. Post Office etc. Sadly no supermarket, that shut and no independents. Plenty of fast food out-lets, not obtrusive but there just the same. Oh, and so many hairdressers and barbers you could use a different one every month of the year.

I suspect it not like that on the Isle of Man?

You are so right. Very often no papers at all....hence the digital alternative :)
