I always start by looking at Frogman, and I have to thank him for getting me as far as I have with this crossword, but time is running out and I still have a long way to go. Also folks what's with 19 - Like shallow waters, swimming in Crete.
Answer appears to be Neritic, testified by Chambers, but no sign of Neretic, which actually is an anagram of in Crete!?
